Vice Principal: Muzna Kamal

Muzna Kamal

Mrs. Muzna Kamal is thrilled to be celebrating her thirteenth year at the London Islamic School.  She has been blessed with several national and international opportunities in education.   After obtaining a Bachelors of Architecture at the University of Damascus, she began her teaching career as a Grades 1-8 visual arts teacher in Dubai.  Next, she worked as a Librarian at an Islamic college in Dubai.  She moved on to work at a Media Technology Centre in Jordan, where she prepared curriculum-support materials for teachers.   Having moved to Canada, Mrs. Kamal, she pursued a degree in Education at the University of Western Ontario. She recently completed an additional qualification in Special Education.

I feel honoured to have been a part of the wonderful LIS community for 12 years.  In my fourth year as the vice principal of academics, I reflect on the rewarding opportunity I've been given at L.I.S to make a difference in the lives of our students.  I am grateful for the path Allah has chosen for me.  Most recently, I have had the privilege of growing in the support of our tremendous principal, Mr. Omar.  Under his instruction, I have seen our school develop into a strong pillar of the London Islamic Community.   Thank you to Mr. Omar, the administration, our staff, students and parents for the great contributions you have all made to myself and to our school.
